Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

You are invited to a warm, welcoming Christmas Eve candlelight service at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

If you are carrying joy. grief. questions. or just exhaustion from a long year. this night is for you.

In a world that often feels chaotic and divided. Christmas Eve gives us a quiet moment to breathe. to sing. and to remember that light still breaks through the darkness. We would love for you to experience that light with us.

What to expect
. Beautiful Christmas carols and familiar music
. A children's live nativity scene
. A short, hope filled message you can carry into the new year
. Candlelighting as we sing “Silent Night” together
. A relaxed, family friendly atmosphere
. Come as you are. dressy or casual.

You don't need to be a member. religious. or “have it all together” to join us. If you have not been to church in a long time. if you are visiting family. or if you simply need a place where you will not sit alone on Christmas Eve. you will have a place here.

Time
Arrive a few minutes early to find a seat.
Service begins at 5:30 pm and lasts about one hour.

Use the QR Code or text CHRISTMAS to (302) 665-1611 to register children to participate in our live nativity during the service. There are no speaking part and no rehearsals. Costumes will be provided in our lobby a 5pm.

If you are coming alone. let us know in the comments so we can make sure someone is there to greet you and sit nearby.
