St Pete Atheists

Walk with a Doc is a free community walking program, led by a local healthcare provider and open to people of all ages and abilities.

Each event starts with a brief discussion on a health topic from a local physician. You’ll also have the opportunity to chat and ask questions during the walk around the Crescent Lake Park Loop, proceeding at your own pace.

The trail is accessible for visitors using wheelchairs, mobility equipment, or strollers.

We can enjoy a fun and safe walk with others at Crescent Lake Park on the second Saturday of each month. The event is free and open to the public, drawing those interested in learning about current health topics, meeting new people, and getting out and about for some healthy activity!

Let's get 2026 off to a good start by getting together for recreational fun!

There will be board games, card games, a pool table, and more. Bring a game of your own if you have a favorite, but don't worry; we'll have many options!

This event is not restricted to atheists only, so if you have friends or family who would enjoy the festivities, they are welcome. IMPORTANT: Because this is a private residence with a clubhouse and game room, an RSVP is required.

Come and leave when you like. We may even have a few people take a break in the middle to stretch our legs with a short walk around part of the charming nature preserve at Carillon Park.

Feel free to bring your own beverages and snacks (a refrigerator and microwave are available).

Although our host must bid us goodbye for an evening commitment, those who wish to grab a bite for dinner afterward may do so at the nearby Courtyard Grill when the games are over. This is completely optional.
