Continuum of Care Membership Meeting

St. Pete Atheists members who are interested in how we can help make homelessness a rare, brief, one-time experience are invited to join me and learn more about the Pinellas Continuum of Care.

Meet the Continuum of Care leadership and hear an overview of the group's mission and vision. There will be introductions to the Continuum of Care board of directors, as well as the Pinellas Homeless Leadership Alliance (HLA) board of directors and CEO.

After the introductions, Elise Minkoff, who is Chief Operations and Programs Officer at the Pinellas County Housing Authority, will offer a brief presentation.

HLA staff will provide a 2025 Point in Time Report, a snapshot of homelessness in Pinellas County, capturing the number of people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. This includes individuals and families staying in Emergency Shelters, Transitional Housing, or Safe Havens, as well as those sleeping in places not meant for human habitation, such as on the street or in vehicles.

Learn how to get involved in ways large or small, from board positions to councils and committees, advocacy opportunities and Continuum of Care membership. At the end, time is allotted for public comment.

NOTE: There's an optional 5 p.m. guided tour of the Evara Wellness Center to learn more about the essential resources being offered (it is next door to the Pinellas County Housing Authority).
