What Political Developments in 2025 Are You Thankful For?

It’s that time of the year again… Time to gather with family and friends, eat turkey and pie, watch football and recount what we’re thankful for. Granted, we’ll be most thankful for those very family and friends, our health, good fortune and other things that shall forever remain priceless. Given that this is a political, straight-talking group, however, I’m more interested in what political events, developments, moves and movements you’ve been grateful for in 2025. And since there’s a 100% chance some of the things you’re grateful for in this domain will not be shared – let’s put it generously – with someone else listening on, I’m counting on a vigorous but respectful exchange of opinions on what highlights of the year – national and global – we should be happy about.

So gather your thoughts, think back all the way to January and take your best shot (or two… or three). Rave about your choices, cheer or rant about those of others and hash it out with the rest of us in an open and passionate (but still civilized) discussion. Or just bring your popcorn, sit back and enjoy the dynamic.
