Current Events: An Open Discussion

Is it OK for the US to keep blowing those "drug boats" out of the water? Is Trump about to take the fight into Venezuela? What are the lessons of the D.C shooting of the two National Guardsmen? Or Minnesota's Somali community's welfare fraud scandal? Is the recent special U.S. House election in Tennessee a sign that the GOP majority is on borrowed time? Can the US and Europe bring a fair and lasting peace to Ukraine? Will AI make work optional?

These are some of the topics people have been talking about and debating these days. Perhaps that will still be the case next Wednesday. Perhaps it will be something else. No matter.
