Welcome welcome players old and new to a dungeons and daddies inspired campaign. Parents and Planeswalkers. in this campaign the players will take the role of parents. mom or dad, a step parent or if you wanna represent other types of families uncles aunts grandmas or grandpas. We begin our story at the night of the community talent show where your child is performing when all of a sudden an act goes wrong. you your child and a bunch of strangers are then thrust into the world of the forgotten realm! when you come to. you realize your child is missing. in a world of swords and magic. armed with a bad back, a general knowledge on a very specific subject based on day time television and maybe even questionable politics. you and your fellow parents band together to look for your kids and find a way home.
if you never heard of dungeons and daddies thats okay. the premise is some types of parental figures fit certain types of dnd classes. maybe your character is a diy mechanic and house project artificer dad. maybe you got a hippy dippy crystal energy worshipping cleric step mom. maybe you're a nepo baby everything handed to you so you do the same thing to your kid warlock dad. maybe you're a weekend cover band bard uncle. while i'd like players to lean into this for the sake of comedy its not required. all characters are human. however can be specced to be whatever race/species you choose if it has a trait you like more within reason. all players will be level two. anything like magic or what have you will be explained narratively by the mere transference to the forgotten realms activating latent abilities in our earth humans. additionally if you REALLY want to be another type of character besides human we'll figure that out in the first few sessions. if you have any questions feel free to pm/dm either here on meetup, publicly on the page or if you're already in the discord you can find me there too in the dungeons and dragons channel.
currently the party is level 2 so any and all new comers to this campaign go ahead and take 2 levels for your character.
