Bouncing back from Design Sprint disruptions to ensure relevance and purpose

Details
Despite the hype, the incredibly fast and tangible results Design Sprints are able to unlock when tackling innovation challenges, make the process still very current. Ideas brought 10 steps ahead in just a week. How cool is that?!
Though if you happened to get hands-on with the methodology yourself, you must have noticed how often reality doesn’t let you follow an ideal, perfect path, as showcased in the book. What if your client has a very limited budget? What if booking participants for 4-5 days is simply not an option?
Over time, the methodology has been tested, tweaked and spontaneously adjusted by facilitators all around the world, to best fulfil their ever-changing needs and navigate disruptions.
In this session, Valentina Salvi of Accenture Interactive Amsterdam will share her personal experience while running Design Sprints with different types of clients and in different cultural contexts, extracting case studies and practical tips on how to navigate Design Sprint disruptions to ensure a relevant outcome with a purpose.
After a presentation aiming at inspiring and sharing some actionable tips, we will look for greater, collective learnings to feed our practice with an exercise triggering further reflections and group discussion.
