About us
Welcome to an informal, not too serious book club. No commitment or fees. We will choose books in paperback to keep down costs and provide a month heads up at least so there is time to order them from the library. Other than avoiding politics and religion there are no rules. It’s not even necessary to read or finish a book or even say much if you are not comfortable. Life happens. We pick books together. You will not always like the books but a club gets you reading and sometimes out of your comfort zone. Reading books you always like is called reading at home alone. Sad. After many years of doing book clubs my husband and I know what works. The goal is to have fun and meet people and find some books you love. Please buy a beverage to support our Matilda hosts.
