What we’re about
We are the Friends of Strathcona County Library, a group of library lovers who believe in the power of public libraries to enrich community life.
As a volunteer-run non-profit, we raise funds and awareness to support projects that go beyond the library’s regular budget. These special touches make the library experience even better. From children’s furniture, expanded collections and interactive technology to Ukrainian books that welcomed newcomer families to our community, we help bring ideas to life.
Join us if you love books, community connection, and giving back to a place that gives so much to all of us. We meet regularly for those who want to be more involved in volunteering, but this group will share updates on the events and fundraisers we host throughout the year.
