PHOTO CHALLENGE
“Contrast / Opposites” – look for visual opposites:
- black / white
- big / small
- old / new
- light / dark
- rich / poor
Be playful with it — contrasts make great stories in photography.
MUSEUM GAME
Imagine you’re allowed to take one piece from the museum home today. Which one would it be, and why? 📷 Take a photo of it and share your choice when we regroup. (No actual stealing, please 😅).
WALK SCHEDULE
3:00 – 3:15 PM – Meet & Greet at HistoryMiami Museum
We’ll gather in the main lobby, near the staircase and courtyard area (101 W Flagler St). Because of the large group, we’ll skip the usual “go-around introductions” so we don’t block space — just say hi and settle in.
3:15 – 4:45 PM – Explore the Exhibits
We’ll enjoy about 90 minutes inside. Featured galleries include:
- “Waves of Style: Swimwear Through the Decades” – A summery, retro delight
- “Annette and Rudi Rada: Photographing Mid‑Century South Florida” – Stunning black & white images
- Permanent collections on Miami’s history, culture, and communities
Plenty of photo inspiration from both content and exhibit design.
4:45 - 5:00 Meet again at the museum entrance. Share your “take-home” piece from the museum with the group.
5:00 – 6:00 PM – Downtown Walk & Bayfront Shots
We’ll head toward Bayfront Park for sunset vibes, optional bites, and people-watching.
LARGE GROUP LOGISTICS
- With 50+ people, let’s be mindful of space and museum visitors. Explore in small clusters inside.
- Use the WhatsApp group for live coordination and to find each other:
- After the walk, share your 3–5 best shots either on the Meetup event page or on Instagram, tagging @photowalk_moments as a collaborator.
BONUS (Optional)
From 11 AM – 3 PM there will be Serbian dance performances in the museum as part of a special event:
