This time, we’ll step into the colorful past at HistoryMiami Museum, then head out for a slow stroll through downtown and along Biscayne Bay. A mix of vintage vibes, classic Miami, and modern city lines — perfect for storytelling through your lens.
🕒 3:00 – 3:15 PM – Meet & Greet at HistoryMiami Museum
We’ll gather in the main lobby, near the staircase and courtyard area (101 W Flagler St). Say hello, settle in, and prep for the museum’s visual feas
🖼️ 3:15 – 4:45 PM – Explore the Exhibits
We’ll enjoy about 90 minutes inside. Featured galleries include:
- “Waves of Style: Swimwear Through the Decades” – A summery, retro delight
- “Annette and Rudi Rada: Photographing Mid‑Century South Florida” – Stunning black & white images
- Permanent collections on Miami’s history, culture, and communities
Plenty of photo inspiration from both content and exhibit design.
🚶♀️ 4:45 – 6:00 PM – Downtown Walk & Bayfront Shots
As the museum closes, we’ll step outside and take a relaxing photowalk through Museum Park — just a short stroll away. Expect breezy bay views, palm-lined promenades, and city-meets-nature moments as the sun starts to mellow.
💡 Tips:
- Bring a wide-angle or portrait lens — we’ll have lots of variety
- Water + light clothing recommended — shaded paths, but summer temps
- Admission is free for everyone on this day!
