PHOTO CHALLENGE - 😊 SMILE 😊
Smile at life, and life smiles back!
Human smiles are wonderful, of course, but let's get a little more creative!
Look for smiles in unexpected places β€” objects, shapes, architecture, nature, or anything that seems to be smiling back at you.
Or simply capture something that makes YOU smile β€” a funny coincidence, a playful detail, a little absurdity, or an unexpected moment of joy.
Mini bonus: Find a way to bring YELLOW into your smile!

This gentle photowalk blends contemporary art at The Bass with a shady escape into the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. It’s a perfect way to explore beauty, breathe, and shoot in two of the most tranquil spots in the city.
Both museum and garden are free to enter β€” a bonus win!

SCHEDULE
2:45 – 3:00 PM – Meet & Greet at The Bass
We’ll gather in the central sitting area near the new front desk in the museum lobby (2100 Collins Ave). Take a moment to cool down, say hello, and get your camera/phone ready. Entrance is FREE today! No tickets needed. At the entrance, they'll simply ask for your ZIP code.
Find us in the central lobby, near the sitting area with sofas. I'll have a 🟒 green dot sticker on my hand so you can recognize me!
We'll gather for about 15 minutes, then start exploring the museum. Running late? No worries! Just enjoy the museum on your own.

3:00 – 4:00 PM – Explore The Bass Museum
Enjoy an unhurried 60-minute visit through the exhibits and the architectural details of this jewel of a museum. It’s compact but full of photogenic moments β€” indoors and out.

4:00 – 5:00 PM – Stroll through the Botanical Garden
We’ll regroup at our starting point (the lobby sitting area) and then we will take a short walk (5 mins) across the street to the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. The garden closes at 5 PM, so we’ll catch the last hour of soft afternoon light while wandering under trees, near the koi pond, and through tropical paths.
