Speaker : Stephen Ansell
Steve has a background spanning industries from electronics engineering in the Australian military, through executive management in multinationals, to advanced sales training, strategic career development and branding.
1983 Steve formed Execupac, a firm assisting young people to combine solid career development principles with financial planning. The firm helped over 3,000 people to gain crystal clarity about their best career path, and the skills to navigate the challenging terrain of their career growth. Equipped with high-order search & interview skills, even the youngest clients presented at interviews with exceptional success. Over the years, clients retained those skills, with many reaching the pinnacle of their industries and some even gaining recognition for making a difference globally.
Though Steve has held a wide range of roles over the years, the common thread has always been to serve others in the hope of better equipping himself and others to contribute to building better circumstances locally, regionally, nationally and globally.
During his life, Steve has studied engineering, theology, which included the study of all faith journeys, psychology and architecture. His informal studies are ongoing and include a lifelong interest in the nature of leadership.
This evening, Steve will be asking the group to explore key identifiers of good-and-poor leadership. Steve encourages everyone to turn on your screens – he doesn’t care if you're eating or wrangling rowdy kids or pets … the word dialogue means “words that bridge” – tonight, Steve urges us all to dive in and help each other using the first principle of leadership: To define reality.
