Git is also supported by tooling like Gittk, Git server, CGIT among others which are also used by Free software projects.

Git has mutliple workflow patterns that support efficiency, communication and delivery of software artifacts.

GitOps is the practice of using Git pull requests to verify and automatically deploy system infrastructure modifications. It is one of the Git workflow patterns.
