About us
Welcome to the Strings Attached Puppet Makers Social Club. We are a casual collective of folks who enjoy the craft of bringing inanimate objects to life. Whether you are an experienced builder with a workshop full of tools or someone who has never touched a glue gun but wants to try your hand at making a simple marionette, you are welcome here. Our goal is to provide a space where we can share techniques, troubleshoot mechanics, and enjoy the company of other makers while we work on our individual projects.
These sessions are intentionally low-pressure. We meet regularly to share progress, exchange ideas on materials, and talk through the challenges of puppetry design. There are no formal classes or strict agendas, just a group of people interested in the intersection of art and engineering. If you have a project you are currently working on, or even just an idea scribbled on a napkin, feel free to bring it along. We look forward to meeting you and seeing what you are creating.
