I want to support the Prado restaurant, since they are performing so badly now with the parking drama going on at Balboa Park. I hope all of you can join me.
We will meet at the Inspiration Point trolley stop next to the lower free parking lot at 11:45AM to start our walk at noon. See the map for the green trolley icon. We will be having lunch at the Prado at 1 PM. We will start the walk at the parking meeting place and then finish at the Prado. Those who want can take the free trolley back to the parking lot or simply walk the few blocks.
Parking is free for three hours for everyone at the Lower Inspiration Point parking lot. I would suggest pulling into the parking lot and heading south to the staircase that has the parking meter in front of it. You must put your license plate information into the parking meter to get your three hours free. We will then be at the top of the stairs at the covered trolley stop to start our walk.
Since this website cost me $178 every six months, I do ask for a $2.00 donation.
If you sign up for the event, and then later have to cancel, please just only change your RSVP to “No”. Please do not post comments about you canceling in the chat or on the event comment page. Every comment is sent out to all 500+ members. None of us need to know why you are not able to make it. Again, just change your RSVP to “no “. We all thank you.
