Walk with the Embarcadero Coalition Against Overdevelopment

Details

Back by popular demand. Over 50 people attended the first informational walk with Susan. More people wanted to come, but could not make the 10 AM event in July.

Walk with Susan and The Embarcadero Coalition to learn how the proposed MASSIVE Seaport Project in the Central Embarcadero may impact you! If you live in San Diego and enjoy your current easy access to the waterfront, this walk is for you. If you care about the environment and reducing pollution, this walk is for you. This walk is for anyone who would like to understand how traffic, insufficient parking, loss of easy access to the waterfront and less green park acreage may impact them should the Seaport Project be approved. The walk is free and lasts about an hour, depending on the number of questions. We would love for you to join us as we continue to work to reduce the scale and size of the redevelopment. Meet at the Kissing Statue ("Unconditional Surrender") where we will walk the Central Embarcadero and finish at Spill the Beans in Seaport Village.

You can also find this group on Facebook at Embarcadero Coalition

There are parking meters behind Seaport Village on the far west side of Harbor Avenue.

Feel free to have dinner with others in the group after the informational walk.

If you RSVP “Yes” and later are not able to make it, please do not post comments on this page. Simply change your RSVP to “not going“. Thank you!

No donations are requested for this event, since Susan will be hosting and not myself.
