We're heading to the Midway neighborhood this month for our Walk n Talk. We will be meeting at Old Town Transit Center and then heading out for our walk around the neighborhood.

For this walk, please bring a beverage with you either from home or there are a few coffee shops about a 5 minute walk away in Old Town to pick up something, if you so choose to have one. Please plan your time accordingly if you want to purchase a beverage from the nearby shops.

Please meet up with the group no later than 10:15am. so that we have time to get to our bus.
--------------------------------------
We will meet on the west side of Old Town Transit Center (parking lot side) near the stairs and will be taking the 8 or 9 bus at 10:27 up Sports Arena Blvd.

From there, we will get off and walk back to Old Town.

We know this isn't the most pedestrian friendly walk, so we want to actively examine and be in the space and imagine how this could be improved for the benefit of all.
---------------------------------------
Join us for a leisurely walk as we explore San Diego from a pedestrian’s perspective. These active meetings are designed to help us experience our city at street level, observe its strengths and challenges, and discuss how it can become more walkable, vibrant, and resilient.

During the walk, we’ll assess the space around us and our experience as a pedestrian, using our observations to inform future advocacy and discussions. Whether you’re new to Strong Towns or a longtime supporter, this is a great way to connect with others while actively engaging with our city, one step at a time.

Download the Get it Done app so we can report issues to the City.
