Neighborhood Walk (North Hills)

Enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood while getting to know the many places we have and how local groups are working to improve them. Each walk is a loop that takes 30-60 minutes at a modest pace and includes a place to get a treat. We will meet as a group, walk, observe the local urbanism, and discuss what we see.

Meet at North Hills Train Station, Inbound side (near SEPTA building). Station Ave, Glenside, PA 19038. Parking (paid) available in SEPTA lot or along Central or Tennis Aves. (Cross Mt. Carmel with caution.) Can also walk from Ardsley or Glenside stations (long walk). 95 Bus route is nearby.

Route: Mt Carmel to intersection with Edge Hill (optional: stop at Richman's), back to 152/Limekiln, to North Hills Ave, to Mt Carmel, to Station Ave. Total distance 1.4 miles, includes hills, "32 minutes"
