Welcome to the Strum and Socialize Guitar Jam Collective. We started this group to create a low-pressure space for local players to get together, share songs, and just enjoy making music with others. Whether you have been playing for years or are still getting comfortable with your chord changes, you are welcome to join us. Our focus is on the joy of playing rather than perfection, and we aim to foster an environment where everyone feels encouraged to participate at their own pace.
The goal is to keep things simple: bring your guitar, a willingness to listen, and a few songs you would like to play. We usually rotate through different styles depending on who shows up, so it is a great way to learn new techniques or pick up a few tips from fellow members. We look forward to meeting you, hearing what you are working on, and building a regular rhythm of music and conversation with this community.
