Strumming Together In The Local Sunshine is a casual, low-pressure group for anyone who plays the ukulele or has always wanted to learn. We get together once a month to practice our favorite songs, share chords, and just enjoy the company of fellow musicians. Whether you have been playing for years or you are still figuring out your first few chords, you will find a welcoming space here to make some noise and improve your skills.

There is no formal instruction or audition process, just a group of neighbors hanging out and playing music. We usually meet in a quiet spot at the park or a local cafe to run through a mix of folk, pop, and classic tunes. Bring your uke, a music stand if you have one, and whatever songs you are currently working on. We look forward to meeting you and sharing some music together.
