LV Students of Stoicism:6th Meetup - Recap and Review (Basics, Epictetus)

Hello!

Thank you all for your participation at the last meetup. I look forward to continuing this group with both familiar faces and newcomers.

Time: 1pm
Place: West End Pub in Quakertown.

Topics:
I hope to get us a table outside this time. Weather permitting, it would be nice to take in the air.

This meeting, we will do a small pause from charging through the reading to reflect and review. We've covered a lot so far so I'd like to give some time towards strengthening our communal understanding and reflect on how we are all doing so far.

We will review our understanding of how we give assent to impressions (our core beliefs) and refine what is meant of what is truly ‘up to us’ (sometimes referred to as the Dichotomy of Control.)
