Figure Drawing Class: Jason

In this workshop, I will be teaching participants the basics of figure drawing from a live model. Jason Schroeder will be the model. We will work with charcoal on newsprint and focus on the following:

-proportions
-anatomy
-Measuring (angles and head lengths)
-shading techniques

This will be a recurring workshop happening at least one Saturday a month. Students may sign up for one at a time or for as many as they like. People pay on this site, one class at a time.

We will work with charcoal on newsprint. Supply list:

-Vine charcoal sticks
-Compressed charcoal pencils
-chamois or soft cloth
-Kneaded eraser
-newsprint

We will work from a variety of models—old, young, male, female and possibly transgender.
