Drawing Facial Features

In this figure drawing class you will learn the following:

• Expressive facial expressions
• Measuring techniques
• Shading techniques

We will work with charcoal on toned paper. Supplies:

• Vine charcoal sticks
• Compressed charcoal pencils
• Newsprint
• Charcoal paper (with a tooth)
• Toned Pastel paper (Canson Mitientes)

We will work with illustrations and casts). The poses will be quick at the beginning and then we will evolve into longer ones. The longest pose will be about an hour long.
