Plant identification hike in Rosenstein park

Hey everyone!

Interested to rediscover the amazing world of plants ? To learn to identify many wild plant from the forest and investigate, by looking at many tiny details the name and family of an unknown plant ?

During this event, we will walk in the Rosenstein park next to the city center and stop to identify some plants which look interesting. I will bring a few flora (plant identification book using different keys of identification), a botanist magnifier and some identification apps.

You only need some good walking shoes, good to walk in the forest and anything to take notes and / or pictures.

I am not a botanist and have only limited knowledge in this domain, but I am happy to share the basics I know. The focus will not be on the usage of the plant but the identification itself, however, I will bring a few resources to know the usage of the plant as well (edible, medicine, ..) if this is something interesting for you.

In case of bad weather (rain), I will have to cancel the event, we will mostly use book for the identification and I would like to avoid them getting wet.
