Kayaking/Canoeing!

preparation:

• bring a photo id for the liability waiver, etc
• wear clothes/shoes you are ok to get wet
• wear/bring sunscreen, shades, caps, plastic bag to put your electronics in (if they are allowed on the kayak), drinking water, etc

other:

• they have stand-up paddleboards too so you'll have the option of either kayaking of SUP-ing
• we could do lunch at a food court nearby (fashion island?) after kayaking
