Styria.AI Tech Talks #1

Join us on the very first Styria.AI tech talk where we'll deep dive into the mysticism contained within our backend systems. Our first talk will be giving Vjekoslav who will uncover our image and text classification pipeline using state of the art machine learning algorithms. In the later talk, Tomislav will introduce you with our massively parallelized data pipeline for model training dataset creation.

The Meetup will take place in HUB385 on Thursday, October 25h.

Categorization Pipeline by Vjekoslav Giacometti
Deep dive into our computer vision and natural language processing (NLP) based service for image and text categorization and its underlying pipeline. This powerful and flexible pipeline allows us to cover many different use cases with one highly configurable and scalable solution.

Vjekoslav is a software engineer in Styria.AI team. He works on the infrastructure for machine learning based services, data processing pipelines and integration with clients.

Large Scale Data Pipeline for AI by Tomislav Levanic
Dataset preparation is an integral part of the process of training our state of the art machine learning models. In this talk we'll describe the current state of our massively parallelized Python based dataset pipeline capable of working with tens of millions of images, problems we've encountered while working on it and the approaches we decided to take.

Tomislav is a software engineer at Styria.AI, where he mostly works on the design and the development of the infrastructure for the dataset preparation and machine learning based services.
