What we’re about:
⚡ Live Music: Synth bands, electronic, shoegaze, Britpop, and indie (80s to present). Also, a mix of glam, rock, and global sounds.
🎻 Classical + Dance: Orchestral, experimental, jazz, dance performances, and avant-garde shows.
🍸 Socials: Happy hours, coffee hangs, and casual walks.
🖼️ Museums + Movies: Museum visits, art installations, and film outings.
🤩 Sublime Times with excellent people.
What to expect:
- An eclectic mix of activities 🎡
If the first event you see on the calendar isn't for you, look around. Something else might be of interest. It’s always a work in progress!
- Small-ish groups (for now, at least) 🧑🤝🧑🧑🤝🧑🧑🤝🧑
⚠️ Basic Ground Rules
We have only two big rules to keep things smooth and fun for everyone:
🙏🏻 Respect the RSVP. If your plans change, please update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance (when possible) so someone else can take your spot. Most events have limited spots or may require reservations.
No-shows make planning tough!
🙌🏻 Be Excellent to Each Other. This is an inclusive, respectful space. We're here to appreciate culture and make friends, so please treat everyone with kindness.
Let’s go! 🪂

About this event
🎸Artist: Polish guitarist Raphael Rogiński will perform solo guitar arrangements of music by The Velvet Underground, the legendary rock band known for avant-garde experimentation, dark street poetry, and drone music.)
This is the first time Raphael has performed this arrangement. He’s chosen NYC for the debut because it’s the physical and spiritual home of the Velvet Underground; and this space, nicknamed "The Bunker," specifically because it has a deep connection to the musicians from the band. (Lou Reed himself spent many long nights sitting at the room’s dining table, alongside William Burroughs, Andy Warhol, and many others.)
🏘️ Setting:
"The Bunker" at 222 Bowery
was famously the home of Beat Generation writer William S. Burroughs.🌟The Vibe: A historic, intimate, unique landmark space.
NOT a sleek, modern concert hall.
🌟The Experience: Today primarily an arts archive, community space, and gallery.
When they do host concerts or readings, it feels more like being in a private studio than a standard music venue.

⚡️Modern Korean Mask Dance: "Mask Off"
Check out their YouTube video >
Join us for an extraordinary evening as the Korean Cultural Center New York presents Mask Off (탈바꿈), a groundbreaking contemporary performance by the prestigious National Dance Company of Korea.
In this performance, dancers wear digital LED masks while they move to a pulsing, innovative score composed by avant-garde geomungo artist Park Da-ul, colliding centuries-old folk tradition with a modern EDM soundscape.
It’s a hypnotic, high-energy reinvention of traditional talchum (Korean mask dance).
What We'll Experience
- The Dance: A 60-minute explosive contemporary reimagining of talchum.
- The Visuals: Exaggerated physicality accented by shifting digital LED face masks.
- The Music: A live 5-piece band blending the deep, percussive plucking of the geomungo (traditional six-string zither) with modern electronic digital loops.
