Buffalo Grove: Brunch + Raupp Museum + Nature Walk 🏛️🌳

Join us for a fun and relaxed Sunday in Buffalo Grove!
We’ll meet at 11:00 am at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar for brunch. Lazy Dog offers a large menu with plenty of breakfast, lunch and cocktail options.

After brunch, we’ll take a short drive to the Raupp Museum, a free local-history museum featuring exhibits about Buffalo Grove’s past. We can sit on the porch of an 1890s farmhouse, explore an old-fashioned general store, try a vintage typewriter and learn about the area’s early farming community.

After the museum, we’ll head to Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve for an easy, leisurely 1–2 mile walk through restored prairie and wetlands. The preserve has gravel trails, creeks, a reservoir and scenic overlooks.

🥞 11:00 AM–12:30 PM — Brunch at Lazy Dog
🏛️ 1:00–2:00 PM — Explore the Raupp Museum
🌳 2:15 PM — Meet at Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve
🚶 2:15–3:30 PM — Easy, leisurely 1–2 mile nature walk
