Join us for one of the area’s most popular fall festivals—Long Grove Apple Fest!

Historic Downtown Long Grove will be filled with apple pies, donuts, caramel apples, apple wine, sangria, food vendors, artisan booths, local shops, carnival rides, children’s activities, and live music.
Saturday’s entertainment includes:

  • American Idiots — Green Day Tribute: 1:45–3:00 p.m.
  • Pie-Eating Contest: 3:00–3:30 p.m.
  • Santeria — Sublime Tribute: 3:30–4:45 p.m.
  • Jagged Little Pill — Alanis Morissette Tribute: 5:15–6:30 p.m.

MEETING LOCATION: After entering the festival, meet us at the Fountain Square Stage between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. At 1:45 p.m., we’ll head toward the Main Stage for the Green Day tribute band.

Come for the entire event or join us for just a couple of hours! You’re welcome to arrive later—text Amy at 312-375-7815 to find the group.

FAMILIES ARE WELCOME: Children may attend with a parent or responsible adult. Apple Fest offers carnival rides, games, free children’s crafts, pie-eating contests, and family-friendly entertainment. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children.

ADMISSION: General admission is $7 per person. Children ages 12 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased online or at the gate with cash or a card. Food, drinks, and carnival rides cost extra.

PARKING: Free parking in downtown Long Grove is limited, and paid lots are available nearby. Free remote parking and continuous shuttle service are available Saturday from the Golf Dome Parking Lot, 801 McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. The shuttle drops passengers on Archer Road between Fountain Square and the carnival—very close to our meeting spot. Please allow extra time for parking and the shuttle. Rideshare is also recommended.

This is a rain-or-shine event. Everyone is responsible for their own admission, food, drinks, transportation, and purchases.

WANT TO STAY LATER? Our official Meetup ends at 6:30 p.m., but the music continues with Our Name Is Jonas — Weezer Tribute from 7:00–8:20 p.m. and 7th Heaven from 9:00–11:00 p.m. Anyone who wants to keep the party going is welcome to stay! 🎸
