Marc Lijour
is a former Cisco and ConsenSys executive, who is launching his consulting practice with a couple of dozens of former colleagues and industry experts. He is bullish about the many business opportunities and new markets which should continue to grow in 2019.
Marc developed the first postgraduate College certificate in Canada focusing on Blockchain Development for George Brown College. He is teaching technical courses such as Software Development Methodologies and Blockchain Design Patterns.
Marc has a Bachelor degree in Mathematics from the University of Paris, as well as a Bachelor
degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Technology Management and Innovation from
Ryerson University. He has completed several management courses including an IT Executive
Leadership certificate taught by CIOs for CIOs from Leaders Beyond.
Marc seats on the board of several not-for-profit associations, including ColliderX, an Innovation
Hub for Blockchain and emerging technology he co-founded in 2017, raising $50 million dollars in pledges to create a Canadian Blockchain supercluster rallying the industry and the community dedicated to Blockchain. Marc is an officer of the board of the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC), and a board member of the Toronto French Business Network, and TechConnex.
