Abstract
Using the Open Source voice assistant Mycroft AI as an example, this presentation will give you an overview of the different parts of voice assistants, how they work and how to make them work for you. This is a beginner-level talk that should be possible to follow for everyone regardless of their knowledge of these systems, with an occasional deep-dive into a few technical areas.
Bio
Sylvia is an extremely talented DevOps engineer, whose enthusiasm for IT shines through her contributions to the opensource community, her presentations and her consultancy work. Sylvia is currently working in a highly technical enterprise environment. She is also a Linux Foundation trainer, and has delivered various international talks.
