What we’re about

Welcome to our new diabetes group! Our group is for people living with type I and type II diabetes who want to connect with others, learn more about diabetes management, and find support and encouragement on their journey.

We recognize that diabetes can be a complex and challenging condition, but we believe that by coming together as a community, we can support each other and make positive changes in our lives. Our group will focus on several key areas, including:
• Nutrition: We'll share tips and ideas for healthy eating and discuss strategies for managing blood sugar levels through diet.
• Exercise: We'll explore different types of exercise and physical activity that can benefit people with diabetes and offer support and motivation for staying active.
• Mental health: We'll discuss the emotional impact of living with diabetes, and offer support and resources for managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
• Glucose monitors: We'll share information and advice about different types of glucose monitors and offer support and troubleshooting for using them effectively.
• General support: Above all, our group is a place to find understanding, compassion, and support from others who are living with diabetes. We'll share our experiences, offer advice, and cheer each other on as we navigate the ups and downs of life with diabetes.

Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been living with diabetes for years, we welcome you to join us and be part of our community. Together, we can make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others living with diabetes.
