Volunteer w/Friends of Richards Free Library at Library Festival

What to Expect: The Annual Library Festival takes place Saturday August 22 planned by the Friends of the Richards Free Library in Newport. The Friends need help with their giant book sale! Volunteers can help physically move and sort book genres onto proper tables, set up tables, and set up tents. Setup must be done by 5pm Friday August 21 prior to their Books + Brews event. Saturday volunteer activities include general help during the book sale from 8 am until 3 pm, breaking down tables, loading all unsold books and media into loading truck and taking down tents. It is a LOT of work and they need our help! Wear durable shoes and gloves are optional for lifting and moving objects.
