This group is for anyone in the area who really wants to do yoga and get moving, but struggles with self-motivation.
Like an accountability partner, if we all commit to showing up and doing it together, it's so much easier than trying to get yourself on your yoga mat at home consistently.
I'm a freelancer and while I walk a lot, I really struggle with consistent exercise. I'm sure I'm not the only one!
I have quite a bit of experience with yoga, meditation, and dance, but I will not be teaching at these meetups so much as facilitating.
For now, I plan to play yoga and meditation courses from some of my favorite online instructors so that we can all follow along together.
I will be playing generally beginner-intermediate level classes with a blend of styles.
Of course, if someone wants to step up and teach sometimes, that would be great too.
The idea is mainly just all gathering in a safe, calm, supportive space so that we can move our bodies!
The classes I will be playing will be in English, however, anyone is welcome.
