This Mile High Town and Area in the San Jacinto Mountains is one of America’s Cleanest Forests, breath taking hiking trails and panoramic views, Amazing Rock climbing and scrambling opportunities, and mountain biking. Idyllwild has been named as “100 Best Small Art Towns in America”.
There are 88 RV and Tent sites in this 202 acre Forested Riverside County Park w/ Flush Toilets and hot showers, shower cost .$50 for 3 minutes.
I made my reservations, set up the event over the 3 day Columbus Day weekend in October. Current Temperatures per NOAA Website- 1 week out showing Sunny High 70's to 80 for the weekend, low 50's at night, but could feel be colder at night be prepared it's the mountains.
The cost for 3 nights including fees is $67, the cost for 2 nights looks to be $47+ fees. (make sure you using the below website and booking through Riverside County’s website for Idyllwild Park, there are few campgrounds in Idyllwild). Plan to book your site sooner than later for better choice of sites. 6 people max per site, 2 car max per site ($5 extra charge per vehicle, per night).
