About us
The Summit 4x4 Club's purpose is to provide events and outings related to exploring 4x4 run opportunities for 4x4 vehicles throughout Arizona, Utah, Colorado & California. Summit 4x4 Club provides the means for like-minded people to come together that share in the same desire and hobby of taking their 4x4 rigs to "roads less traveled". We also provide quarterly How-To-Clinics to practice safety out on the trails. Jeeps, Trucks, SUVs, you name it, bring it.
Group Rules
1. No drinking on the trail
Safety comes first to the group. We want to create a safe environment that minimizes accidents and injuries.
2. Update your registration status
Most runs have a limited group size. If you state you are going and don't show it takes away from others that would like to go. "No-shows" will be waitlisted in future runs
3. Be Kind and Courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
4. No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated.
5. No Religious or Political Posts
We are a community group with diverse views and backgrounds. We expect everyone to be considerate and tolerant of each member.
6. Respect Everyone's Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.
7. This is Not a Classified Page
Please refrain from selling items or parts on any of the Summit 4X4 Club pages unless you are one of our sponsors.
8. When on the trail always remember to T.R.E.A.D. Lightly!
Travel and recreate with minimal impact.

Trails 4 Tatas Event

The 8th Annual Trails 4 Tatas Event benefiting the Baskin Breast Care Center is almost here!!! Breakfast will be provided by our fabulous club sponsors, and lunch is being provided by El Charro Norte. You will have the choice of 3 different types of runs (easy, moderate, hard). You can also participate in the poker run by purchasing poker run hands. Please, please, please make sure you have a 2026 liability waiver on file! If not, follow the directions below to submit the waiver. There will be a 50/50 raffle, a bucket raffle and a live auction. Event tickets and spots for the trail runs ARE LIMITED and they are not one and the same. You must purchase event tickets AND sign up for the trail run separately.
Trail Ratings: Easy - flat, not very rocky dirt road
Moderate - rocky, maybe a little off camber
Hard - Very rocky, a more aggressive trail, but nothing crazyTrail Description: The exact trails will not be picked out until late September. Because there are so many events happening that day in and around Prescott, we have to make sure that the areas we are going to be in are not being used by another event.
Waiver requirement: If you have not already filled out a 2026 waiver (if you even doubt that you have submitted a waiver, please contact Victor or Laurie to find out), please click on the link below and download it to your computer. Complete and return the form to clubs@summit4x4company.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Vehicle requirements: Suitable for most 4x4s with a low range transfer case. 32-inch tires minimum, full size spare tire, skid plates over critical components, and recovery points front and rear. Fire extinguisher and some recovery gear required.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome to come along, but they must be on a leash at all times when they are out of the vehicle and when they are at the event at Summit!
Meetup location: Summit 4x4 Company, 420 Miller Valley Rd, Prescott
8:00 a.m. Breakfast and check in. Please do not arrive prior to 8 am so we have time to get set-up and ready. For parking, follow the directions of our Search and Rescue parking volunteers.
8:45 am: Driver's Meeting for all groups.
9:00 am: The first group will roll out, the rest will roll out in 15-minute intervals. Groups WILL NOT roll out according to group number!
Noon: The trail runs will be returning to Summit and lunch will be served.
1 pm: The program will begin followed by the start of the auction (with special guest, Greg Mengarelli as the auctioneer) and bucket raffle tickets being drawn. The day will conclude with the 50/50 raffle ticket and gun raffle ticket being drawn.

Under "Trail Run Sign-Up", you can fill out the form to sign up for your desired trail run;
Under "Apparel" and "Gear" you can purchase Trails 4 Tatas t-shirts, hats, stickers and mugs.

Everything you purchase on the website will be in the registration bag given to you when you check in for the run. If you would like to pick up something before the day of the run, or if you want a size or item that is sold out on the website, please use the "contact us" tab on the website for communication. If you would place your t-shirt and hat orders as soon as possible, it would greatly help us to not only have merchandise available to sell the day of the event but also give us time to order an item that is not in stock.
Notes/special instructions: Please make sure you arrive with a full tank of fuel and plenty of water and snacks for everyone in your vehicle. Plan on staying out longer than planned, so also have all medication and personal items that are necessary. Please make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear for loose surfaces.
Communication devices are highly encouraged.
Each group will be assigned a different GMRS channel. The channel and privacy code will be communicated to you prior to the day of the event,
Reminder, this is a family friendly club, no alcohol is allowed during the run.
