Rating: Moderate - Loose cinders

Trail Description-Steep ascents and descents on loose cinder roads, views of the cinder cones and sunset crater off in the distance.

Trail Time: 6+ hours

Vehicle Requirements: Minimum tire size of 33”, skids, full-size spare, front and rear recovery points, fire extinguisher, some recovery gear, and be comfortable getting dirty if needed.

Make sure you bring: Lunch and snacks, plenty of water, a full tank of fuel, personal items/medical (Plan on being out longer than expected), and good pair of shoes for loose surfaces

Meetup: Flagstaff at 10am, we will meet at the 76 Gas station (9001 US-89) on the corner of Silver Saddle Rd and US-89. The leaders are camping at the Cinders from 6/17 till 6/20, if you would like to join us. Otherwise we will see you on 6/18.
