Rating: Difficult - Rocky, Tight Squeeze, Possible pinstriping
Trail Description-Trail is remote and lightly traveled as it winds back and forth across Turkey Creek. The trail is sometimes referred to as Dead Cow Gulch even though it follows a narrow canyon called Black Canyon. After Howard Copper Mine, you’ll climb into foothills and end with a scenic descent to Castle Creek Road. Stop in at Cleator Bar, open weekends.
Trail Time: 6+ hours
Vehicle Requirements: Minimum tire size of 33”, skids, full-size spare, front and rear recovery points, fire extinguisher, some recovery gear, and be comfortable getting dirty if needed.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome to come along, but they must be on a leash at all times when they are out of the vehicle!

Notes/special instructions: Please make sure you arrive with a full tank of fuel, lunch and plenty of water and snacks for everyone in your vehicle. Plan on staying out longer than planned, so also have all medication and personal items that are necessary. Please make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear for loose surfaces.
