Parade of Planets (aka Planets in PJs)

A planetary alignment occurs the night of Aug 9 into the morning of Aug 10. We will open the observatory at 4:00 AM on Sunday Aug 10 for a planetary viewing. Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Neptune and Uranus will all be on the viewing list. With luck we will catch a glimpse of Mercury just before sunrise. Mars sets at 10:30 PM and won't be visible. It is also the Sturgeon moon. John has promised donuts and coffee that need a little something in the morning.
