Details
The forecast for Wednesday evening continues the run of excellent observing conditions. As we get further into September, the sun sets earlier. Sun set is at 7:30 with true darkness at around 9:00. The moon is on 18% so good deep space viewing is on the agenda. We'll look for nebula, galaxies and do some planetary viewing too. At 18% illuminated, it is also a good time to view the moon as the shadows help bring out details.
Remember, always check for last minute changes or cancellations. Dress appropriately as the temperature changes greatly after sun sets.
