Our first backpacking trip of the season!
This is a 17 mile 1 night trip just north of Reading. Relatively flat, a less than 1,000 foot difference between the highest and lowest points of the hike. There will be great views, especially on the second day. We will be camping on the grounds of an AT shelter with a fire pit, water source, and pit toilet.
We will be carpooling to the trailhead, message me here if you want a ride!
This is a beginner friendly hike. If this is your first time with us, or backpacking in general, this is a good place to start! That being said, it should be a lot of fun for anyone who wants to come.
