Ok, we're back from vacation... let the gaming begin!

I want to give it a try this coming session. After our little test drive, future sessions it'll be optional, depending on the individual player.

Basically, when you roll a d20, you also roll a d6. If that d6 results in a 1, there's a complication. If it's a 6, an opportunity presents itself. Apparently, this has been in various games for many years. I'm just using it now, or trying it out. However, I wouldn't be surprised if our use of this "narrative die" didn't eventually take us to unforeseen and undreamt regions beyond the outer void...

And I'll also be rolling that d6 along with my d20 rolls for NPCs, monsters, etc.

There will be another scheduling snafu next month as I'll be at VENGER CON the weekend of July 19th. Will probably game Saturday, July 5th, July 12th, and then July 26th... but won't know for sure until it's closer and I check with Danielle.
