Crash Course: Intro to JavaScript

Overview: Join our CEO, Jason Perry at the Academy at Suncoast Developers Guild for an Intro to JavaScript!

Expertise: This course assumes no previous knowledge of JavaScript or any other programming language. We'll discover what JavaScript is and where it fits into the world of programming.

Outcomes: We'll do a hands-on workshop where we'll do some actual coding together.

Requirements:
• Laptop that is WiFi capable. Laptops are required to complete the course. However, if you do not have one and would simply like to attend as an observer, you're certainly welcomed to sign up and you'll still learn a lot!
• Your favorite text editor (e.g. Sublime Text, Vim or Atom, not a word processor like Word)

• Basic JavaScript syntax
• Creating a simple application or game
