Crash Course: Ruby for the Newbie

Overview: Join our CTO, Gavin Stark at the Academy at Suncoast Developers Guild to learn the basics of Ruby.

Expertise: This course assumes no previous knowledge of Ruby or any other programming language.

Outcomes: The first half of the course will be a short lecture on the basics of programming and Ruby, followed by a hands-on workshop where we'll do some actual coding together.

Requirements:
• If your laptop doesn’t already have a working Ruby environment, we will be using an online version of Ruby so you only need working WiFi.
