Resume Writing Workshop with Tech Ladies, GDI, and Suncoast Developers Guild

Do you feel your resume doesn't show case your work as well as it could? Want a second set of eyes on your portfolio? Worried that your LinkedIn isn't up to snuff?

Join Tech Ladies, Girl Develop It and Suncoast Developers Guild for an upcoming resume and portfolio workshop! At this workshop, we will break into smaller peer review groups to help you perfect your resume. There will also be local hiring managers and recruiters available to provide professional feedback, as well as what they look for in applications.

Please bring at least 3 printed copies of your resume. If you can, please bring your computer with the ability to showcase your portfolio and LinkedIn profile.

Shannon Sapourn has been with TEKsystems for the past 2 years working with technical professionals across the greater Tampa/ St. Petersburg area on everything from resume formatting, preparing for interviews, facilitating mock interviews, and identifying which opportunities align with each person's skills and career goals.

Michael Sunderland is the owner of Full Stack Talent, a recruiting company largely centered around hiring for application development roles in the greater Tampa Bay area. Michael's reviewed countless resumes as both a recruiter and hiring manager and is excited to be a part of this event!

Monica Cook has been with Mad Mobile for the past year as the sole Talent Acquisition Manager. Prior to join Mad Mobile, she worked at Focal Point Data Risk over seeing the hiring for all of their locations across the US and Canada. She specializes in recruiting technical professions as well as campus recruiting as she worked as the Associate Director of Admissions for The University of Tampa.
