Learn the basics of Ruby on Rails by building a polling app!
Who is this for?
• Beginners and anyone interested in learning the basics of Rails.
Outcomes:
We are going to have fun building a polling app where we will be able to create a poll, gather votes and see results.
Requirements:
• Laptop that is WiFi capable. Instructor will be using a Mac.
• Access to a command line utility.
• Code editor (VSCode recommended)
• Web browser
• Basic familiarity of Ruby is a plus

• Ruby vs Rails
• Install all the things!!
• What is MVC
• Create a polling app
FAQ:
Light snacks and drink are provided. Feel free to pack dinner or drinks as well! Don't code hangry.
