Safety Harbor Waterfront Park

Rated as one of the top five favorite flying spots, Safety Harbor Waterfront Park, offer everything a drone pilot can hope for. Amazing view of the Bay, long fishing pier, a picturesque marina, large open field, long coastline, extensive boardwalk through the mangroves, large Sails Pavilion shelter, additional small park next to the marina, clean facilities, ample parking and next to world famous and luxurious Safety Harbor Spa.

In addition, the waters next to the park, are a favorite hangout for manatees during cold weather as well as the occasional dolphin.

Keep a eye out for them while flying over water.

If you are a leisure flyer or enjoy aerial photography, this is definitely a place to visit. We usually set up under the large Sails Pavilion, by the large open field.

Bonus, Safety Harbor is home to many great restaurants and eateries. Once you are done flying, you can take a short walk to a delicious lunch.

NOTICE: Due to a couple of past incidents, we ask you not to fly pass the Spa's property line, marked by a white picket fence.

Only those who RSVP, will be contacted in case of event changes or cancellations.

Guests are always welcome but please, do not add them to the count, unless they will be flying a drone. We need a head count of pilots only.
