Annual Stone Soup Potluck, Chapter meeting, installation of new Chapter Chair , auction, croquenut croquet tournament, and Camping! A fun filled weekend! Come join us!

SATURDAY STONE SOUP LUNCH AND POTLUCK
Lunch will be served about 12 noon-ish-depending on when people arrive back from the hikes

Potluck lunch to go along with the soup so please bring something to share

Sue B will be coordinating and preparing the soup along with lots of volunteers , let us know if you want to help with soup prep. If you are kitchen crew, you will be foregoing the hikes. Please be at the pavilion by 9 am. We will be taking in food donations, adding to the 2 pots, cutting up veggies if necessary and browning meat donations. If interested in helping please post. Also will need a clean up crew.
Soup contributions: Please bring to the Smokehouse Pavilion by 9am so we can put it in the soup and get it cooking.

FOR THE SOUP...,
DROP OFF CONTRIBUTIONS BEFORE HIKING OR BY 9 am at the SMOKEHOUSE PAVILION

1. Fresh, completely de boned, uncooked meats only, Absolutely no leftover cooked meat dishes sitting around your freezer. No pasta please.
2. Fresh vegetables - should be washed, rinsed, peeled/trimmed as needed, then cut up. These should be there by 9:am but can be dropped off a bit later,,
3. Dried beans or other items requiring long cooking times, please bring them to our pavilion before the start of the hike. Please pre soak dried beans overnight.
4. Meat should be raw and cut into small chunks

We will have the large soup cauldron containing meat. And a small vegetarian soup pot as well.

Bring your own soup bowl and utensils! The soup is HOT!

This year's Stone Soup event area is at the #12 Smokehouse Pavilion, which is behind the pavilion we have normally used, which was damaged in last year's hurricane. It can be accessed by parking lot #3. There will be signs.

STONE SOUP AUCTION, our annual main fundraiser!
, Please start gathering up your lightly used camping gear or anything else you think someone might be interested in buying at the auction...this is always a lot of fun and is our main fundraiser for our chapter. Tom H is organizing the auction. Please drop off your items at the auction tables at the Smokehouse Pavilion before you go on the hike or as soon as you arrive at the Pavilion.

CROQUENUT CROQUET TOURNAMENT,, to be held in the group camping area after the auction, Tom H will be organizing this event. Who will be the lucky winner of the croequenut this year!!! ??

We have the group campsites A,B,C,D reserved for the weekend! Friday and Saturday nights. Campsites are tent or hammock only. If arriving late Friday night, please msg me at 727-946-1048 for the gate code.
For campers, drive into the group campsites, unload your gear then park back out at the parking area close to the group sites,

SUNDAY MORNING BREAKFAST IN THE GROUP CAMPING AREA about 9 am. FTA will be providing eggs, bacon, bread and butter, Please bring something to share plus an FTA donation.
