Cypress Creek Preserve Overnight Camping and hiking Happy New Year!

Happy new year! Let's get outdoors for some camping and hiking. Celebrate a new year and start on your resolutions. This is the area in Land O' Lakes, NOT IN TAMPA. Make sure you search for Cypress Creek Preserve in your apps. Gate code will be provided here as we get closer to the event.

Camping:
We will setup camp first, tents and car camping available. We will be in the Equestrian/Primitive camping area. Picnic tables and fire ring available. Porta potties are available as well. Bring in your water to use for drinking, washing, food prep. Bring some firewood for the evening fire.

Hiking:
We will have a few choices of varying length loop trails. If you would like to hike expect the mileage to be 5-7 miles. This will be an easy loop hike on well maintained trail. There are other loop trails to explore if this one is just too short.

What to expect:
Mostly shaded with pine and oaks. Porta Potties available.

What to wear/bring:
Camping gear
Firewood
Food for dinner Saturday night, Breakfast Sunday morning
Comfortable shoes
Appropriate clothing for the day and night weather.
Sun hat & sun glasses
Happy attitude
